Supplemented with residential, leisure, commercial and educational uses, as well as high quality architecture, pedestrian-focused streets and spaces, Boho will not only be a place to work, but a vibrant urban quarter for people to live in, play in and enjoy. Boho will enable people, businesses and ideas to connect, interact and engage; a neighbourhood brimming with energy, excitement and vision.

Focusing around the key pillars of communication, innovation, and sustainability, Boho will act as a catalyst for social, economic and environmental change within the region. It will nurture the freshest, new talent and skills within the digital sector and act as a base of new businesses and industry start-ups. Attracted by high quality, high specification, landmark office buildings setting a new benchmark in design qualities and suitability credentials Boho will also attract new international investment from those wishing to invest in the UK.

 

Funded by TVCA and Middlesbrough Council BOHO X with 60,000ft2 of grade ‘A’ office space forms an integral part of the wider masterplan which looks to provide a bold frontage on a key site within the Boho zone. A highly legible plan form with a simple programme of spaces respond directly to the clients brief for a flexible and adaptable internal environment to suit new digital opportunities. The proposed building wraps around a central atrium providing a dramatic arrival into the building, floor plates are designed to be flexible allowing for the subdivision of the space to provide for multiple occupants or a single user. Orientated around an efficient shared central access and service core to all floors, maximising lettable area and optimising service routes to the floor plates.
