First Glimpse of Tweedbank Care Village as Construction Advances
With structural works well underway, Tweedbank Care Village is beginning to take form, offering an exciting preview of this landmark care development in the Scottish Borders.
Tweedbank Care Village continues to make great progress on site and it is fantastic to see the light gauge steel frame being craned into place, which is starting to give the project a real sense of scale within the stunning Scottish Borders landscape.
The development will provide an innovative care village facility which has been designed to support resident independence and dignity in care provision.
Following a community engagement exercise to select a name for the new development, it has been decided that it will be known as ‘Three Hills Care Village’, a name which references the local landscape. The individual buildings have been named Willow House, Oak House and Sycamore House which will reinforce their individual identities and aid resident wayfinding.
jmarchitects have designed the project for Scottish Borders Council and are supporting Hub South East and Ogilvie Construction in the delivery of the project on site.
