COUNTDOWN TO THE NEAVE BROWN AWARDS: St Andrew’s Drive

The countdown is on. With the 2026 RIBA Neave Brown Award for Housing ceremony just around the corner, we're looking forward to seeing St Andrew’s Drive Phases 2 & 3 head to London as one of just four shortlisted projects from across the UK.

Designed for Southside Housing Association, the project delivers 120 new, high-quality and energy-efficient homes, replacing the former deck-access housing with a new neighbourhood centred around shared greens, sustainable drainage areas and a strong sense of community.

The RIBA jury described the project as “a radical commitment to quality and equality”, recognising its approach to socially conscious housing and its ambition to create places that support both everyday life and a lasting sense of community.

Following its success at the 2026 RIAS Awards, this latest recognition has been a fantastic acknowledgement of the work of Southside Housing Association, the wider design team and everyone involved in bringing St Andrew’s Drive to life.

With the winner due to be announced shortly, we're proud to see the project representing Glasgow and Scottish social housing on the national stage.

Good luck to everyone involved!
