As Managing Director, Brian leads the strategic direction and design leadership of jmarchitects across the UK. He has been instrumental in growing the practice, guiding projects across multiple sectors, shaping its design ethos and overseeing the delivery of complex, large-scale developments from inception to completion.

As a Director, Rod leads complex residential, urban design, and workplace projects, combining commercial awareness with design leadership. He builds trusted relationships with clients and consultant teams, guiding projects from vision and briefing through to completion. His commitment to innovation and digital advancement continues to influence how jmarchitects designs, collaborates, and delivers projects across the UK.

Ryan, provides independent strategic oversight and governance support in his role as Non-Executive Director. Drawing on extensive industry experience, he contributes objective challenge, informed advice and long-term perspective, helping guide business performance, shape strategic direction and support the continued growth, resilience and success of the practice.

Hedley works across residential and mixed-use developments, with a focus on urban regeneration and placemaking. He leads schemes within complex masterplan contexts, shaping developments that respond to their setting and wider community. He combines strong design thinking with technical understanding, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams through planning and delivery. He also brings expertise in BIM, using data to support coordination, efficiency and the delivery of well-resolved outcomes.

Anastasia works across education, science, healthcare and residential projects, with a strong emphasis on specialist education environments, including SEND. She develops design-led responses for complex schemes, combining strategic thinking with technical expertise, and has experience utilising modern methods of construction. Her work is shaped by a strong focus on sustainability and energy performance, and she supports environmental initiatives and team wellbeing across the practice.

Suzanne works across residential and mixed-use projects, with particular experience in large-scale housing developments, including high-rise, BTR, social and later living schemes. She leads projects on complex urban sites, with a strong focus on planning, quality and sustainability, and is a qualified BREEAM Assessor, embedding environmental strategies from early stages. She also has experience delivering high-rise projects in line with Building Safety Act requirements and leads sustainability initiatives within the Manchester studio.

Mark works across residential, education and mixed-use urban projects, with a focus on heritage-led design and regeneration. He has experience delivering projects within listed buildings and complex town centre contexts, shaping responses that contribute to the life and character of their surroundings. He combines strong design thinking with technical understanding to coordinate teams through planning and construction, maintaining design intent across challenging sites.

Gavin works across education projects, including schools and community campuses, with a focus on inclusive, design-led learning environments. He has a strong interest in sustainable design, reflected in the delivery of timber-led projects including CLT construction, particularly within ASN education settings shaped by environmental ambitions and a strong connection to landscape. He combines design understanding with technical skill and contributes to architectural education as a tutor at the University of Strathclyde.

Nik works across healthcare and residential projects, with a focus on designing large-scale learning campuses that combine education, community and sport uses. He leads complex schemes on often challenging sites, developing design-led responses shaped by environmental performance and user needs. He has particular experience in ASN and sustainable design projects. He also supports teams within the studio, mentoring colleagues and helping shape clear, well-resolved project outcomes.
