We are thrilled to announce that Ardrossan Community Campus commenced on site.
It is positive news that the project has reached this significant milestone, and we look forward to continuing our work through the construction phase of the project with North Ayrshire Council and the project team.
The project has been designed to meet LEIP Operational Energy targets. In addition, a Sustainability Design Responsibility Matrix was developed and reviewed during each stage of the project. The Sustainability objectives included BREEAM goals such as ecology and water consumption that would not necessarily be included in Operational assessments.
This new building will transform the learning experience for school children and offers lifelong learning for the community of Ardrossan and the wider area. On this site, with stunning views to Arran, the building will create a new destination for the local community and a catalyst for regenerating the North Shore area.
The Campus includes:
- Early Years
- Primary School
- Secondary School
- Additional Support Needs (ASN)
- Auditorium Performance Space
- Shared facilities including: Library, Learning Hub, Health and Social Care
- Indoor Sports facilities including: Swimming Pool, Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Dance Studio, Fitness Studio
- Outdoor Sports facilities including: Flood-lit 3G Sports Pitch, Grass Pitch and Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)
- Outdoor Learning landscape, recreational spaces and growing spaces
