Works complete at Pollokshields Church!

We’re thrilled to announce the completion of the latest phase of works at Pollokshields Church. jmarchitects has had the privilege of working with the Church for more than a decade, delivering a series of sensitive projects that have helped preserve and enhance this remarkable grade-B listed building.

Renowned for its soaring 55-metre spire, intricate stone tracery, and richly detailed interior, including 25 stained-glass windows by celebrated artists such as Stephen Adam and Robert Anning Bell, Pollokshields Parish Church stands as one of Glasgow’s finest examples of Victorian Neo-Gothic architecture.

This latest phase marks another chapter in the life of the church, a landmark with a rich history and deep ties to the local community.

Our ongoing commitment to conservation work extends beyond Pollokshields; other recent projects include our work at Govan Old Parish Church, another of Glasgow’s treasured heritage buildings. We’re proud to play a part in safeguarding these important landmarks, ensuring they remain places of welcome, worship, and heritage for years to come.
