Women in Property visit the Hutton Hub!
Our Project Director, Yunming Thomson, was delighted to show a group of Women In Property members around the recently completed Hutton Hub, a collaborative space for net-zero education in land management.
Our Project Director, Yunming Thomson, was delighted to show a group of Women In Property members around the recently completed Hutton Hub, a collaborative space for net-zero education in land management.
The group was given a tour of the facilities and some background information on the importance of the work the James Hutton Institute carries out, driving engagement, training and innovation around nature-based net-zero solutions across northeast Scotland and beyond.
The highlight of the tour was a demonstration of the 360-degree immersive space, and a virtual landscape theatre, where gaming technology is used to educate communities on land use practices. It was lovely to see the new café being used by members of the public which was an ambition of the Hutton Hub to make their science more accessible to all.
