Join us in welcoming Georgia Simmons to the Manchester Studio

jmarchitects are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Georgia Simmons, who joins us in our Manchester studio in the role of Architectural Assistant.

We asked Georgia a few questions to get to know her better and this is what she said…

Why did you choose a career in the construction industry?

I have always felt that I found design came quite easily to me however when I did an architecture project as part of my 3D design course at college, I decided that that is what I wanted to continue with it at university.

Where did you study and why did you choose that place?

I studied at the MSA for my masters, and I studied there as Manchester feels like home to me, I love the city.

What skill has served you best in your career?

My ability to hand draw has served me well as I am able to quickly express my ideas on paper, creating hand drawn visuals is one of my favourite things to do.
