Refurbishment works at University of Glasgow nearing completion

We are currently working with University of Glasgow on a number of projects to improve the use of existing facilities across the estate. The adaptation and upgrading of existing space for current practices will ensure a consistent quality and experience for students without turning to new buildings as the solution.

Reconfiguration and refurbishment works to the Wolfson Medical Building, and Sir James Black Building are nearing completion. The works, which have been coordinated with the Queen Elizabeth Teaching Hospital, involve the refurbishment of clinical rooms and will ensure a state-of-the-art teaching experience for students.

Additionally, work is continuing on-site for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Mathematics and Statistics building which forms part of the broader campus redevelopment initiative. Cladding panels have now been delivered to site which are perforated with an abstraction of various Mathematical and Statistical Symbols, provided by the students. Alterations aim to accommodate additional staff and students, improve workflow and accommodation for support services, and improve the quality of space through considered architectural interventions.
