UCLH Angio Room Completion
The first of the Interventional Diagnostic Imaging Rooms at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, designed during lockdown, has received completion.
The first of the Interventional Diagnostic Imaging Rooms at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, designed during lockdown, has received completion, hand over and much praise and delight from the clinicians.
The refurbishment and reconfiguration architectural works for replacing the Interventional Angio Machine and the Vascular Angio Machine also included introducing a new space for the technical equipment which reduced the noise in the control room for the radiographers and for the patients in the examination room. This was achieved without increasing the size of the existing areas’ footprint.
COVID-19 permitting, a small opening is planned. The recently completed Interventional Angio Machine Room is one of several ongoing projects jmarchitects are working on for the University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
