In advance of the Scottish Property Awards, taking place on 26th February, we are shining a spotlight on Hawkhill Primary School, which has been shortlisted in the Architectural Excellence (Public Use) category!

Hawkhill Primary School is a transformative new learning environment designed to support modern teaching and long term sustainability. The school acts as a landmark to the eastern edge of the new Winchburgh masterplan. Its design prioritises natural light, flexible learning zones and strong links to the outdoors, creating a nurturing setting that supports wellbeing and encourages curiosity.

The project plays a key role in shaping the identity of the growing Winchburgh community, providing a welcoming civic presence and an inspiring place to learn. Hawkhill Primary School stands as a testament to how thoughtful design can enrich education and strengthen the fabric of a new neighbourhood.
