Middlewood Locks Phase 3 is almost complete!

We are excited to see Middlewood Locks Phase 3 so close to completion after what has been a nearly 3 year journey!

Middlewood Locks (Phase 3) at Lockside Lane, Salford, continues the next phase of the overarching masterplan, delivering two further multi-storey residential blocks with linked landscaped podium, car parking together with a row of townhouses linked to a two-storey commercial unit. This phase will comprise 189 residential units in a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bed, duplexes and townhouses.

Brick has been selected for use throughout the development as it is inherently robust and long-lasting material that expresses a natural beauty owing to its principle constitution of clay. Whilst no longer present on the site, the buildings that once occupied this area would have been mainly of brick construction and this material heritage is carried through to the design proposals.

Alongside with the brickwork, steel balconies bring some dynamism and vibration to the elevations providing the residents with outdoor space to contemplate the city views and the canals.

The works started in February 2022 are approaching its final completion with a stunning result thanks to the great effort and dedication from Team involved in the process!
