St Andrews Drive shortlisted in the RIAS Awards 2026!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that St Andrews Drive Phases 2 & 3 has been shortlisted for the RIAS Awards 2026 - a fantastic recognition of the project’s ambition, quality, and contribution to Scottish architecture.

Designed by jmarchitects for Southside Housing Association, St Andrews Drive replaces a deteriorating post‑war estate in Pollokshields with a connected, characterful and people‑centred neighbourhood. The redevelopment introduces a diverse mix of homes - including flats, maisonettes and family houses - arranged within a clear, welcoming masterplan that prioritises liveability, community and long‑term resilience. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding Victorian suburb - its sandstone villas, mature trees and generous green spaces -  the project establishes a new architectural identity rooted in thoughtful placemaking, high‑quality materials and a strong sense of belonging.

This shortlisting is a testament to the collaborative effort of the full project team, our client, and everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life. We also extend our warmest congratulations to all fellow shortlisted practices - the standard of work represented in the RIAS Awards continues to elevate and inspire the profession.
