Residential planning application submitted on a unique location in Solihull

Led by Hedley Kettlewell & Andrew Rodgers at jmarchitects and project managed by Crown Valley Consulting Ltd, Solihull has now reached a key milestone and has now been submitted for planning.

The site, at 64-66 Station Road is bounded by the ‘Western Gateway’ and ‘Northern Approach’ identified within the Solihull Town Centre Masterplan 2020, giving the site a unique location and opportunity to create a distinctive development that reinforces the gateway into Station Road from the train station.

The scheme will provide significant economic, social, and environmental benefits, with a more efficient use of the existing brownfield site in a highly accessible and sustainable location providing -

• 50 new private rented homes to encourage new residents to utilise local amenities and public transport, creating a highly sustainable, car-free development.
