Exciting progress on site at Thistle Primary School!

jmarchitects are delighted that construction has continued at pace on Thistle Primary School with scaffolding assembling and brickwork commencing.

Thistle Primary School continues to advance on site at pace, with construction well underway and the brickwork now beginning. As construction continues, the external learning terrace spaces are also becoming visible, bringing the design to life and highlighting how these areas will support teaching, learning, and connection to the outdoors.

The progress also highlights the extensive external playground as part of the development which we are looking forward to seeing come to life with a varied integration of spaces. The school has been designed with a landscape-led approach to encourage outdoor activities within the school and community through a variety of external play and learning places, a 3G pitch and community garden. Once complete the new Thistle Primary School will be an integral part of the wider Dargavel Masterplan providing learning and community spaces for all.

You might have also spotted the new sight signage post on the western corner of the site, showing our illustration of the school and highlighting the extensive team who have contributed to the new Thistle Primary School!
