Peterhead Community Campus submitted for Planning

jmarchitects acting on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council are pleased to announce that the proposed Peterhead Community Campus has been submitted for Planning following the public consultation process.

Located on the site of Kinmundy Playing Fields, the new Community Campus constitutes an aggregation of 4 existing schools - Peterhead Academy, Dales Park Primary, Meethill Primary, and Anna Ritchie Schools.

The campus shall provide education spaces for primary pupils, secondary pupils, and pupils with complex needs, whilst accommodating publicly accessible learning facilities such as indoor sports halls, outdoor pitches and recreational areas for community and school use. The proposed low-energy Passivhaus facility is set within new landscape arrangement incorporating outdoor teaching, play areas and surfaced active travel routes.
