On the 8th day to Christmas, jmarchitects gave to thee… eight education environments for a total of 3,701 pupils!

This year, we’re proud to have delivered eight new learning environments across the UK. Ranging from a small‑scale refurbishment to a new school for 1,050 pupils, these projects span early years, primary and secondary education, specialist SEND facilities, and higher education - each designed to support learning, wellbeing, and community.

Our 2025 completed education projects include Craighall Primary School, Blindwells Primary School, Galashiels Community Campus, Newhouse Academy, The Russett SEND School Refurbishment, The Orchards SEND School, the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology, and Hawkhill Primary School - which we’re delighted to highlight below.

As you may have seen this week, this project has already received its first awards nomination at the Scottish Property Awards 2026! Designed for Winchburgh’s growing community, Hawkhill Primary School brings together flexible, open learning spaces with a distinctive barn‑roof form that gives the building a strong civic identity. Its interconnected layout encourages collaboration, creativity, and modern teaching approaches, aligning closely with West Lothian Council’s vision for future‑focused education.
