We’re delighted to share that the refurbishment of the Wohl Wing at Nightingale House is now complete, with residents moving into their newly designed spaces.
This project has been a rewarding journey—navigating the challenges of the original building, working within budget, and phasing the works to minimise disruption. The outcome is a thoughtful blend of high-end residential design and the practical requirements of a healthcare environment, with dementia-friendly and accessibility features integrated throughout.
Key highlights include:
- Re-purposed elements of the existing building, such as divider screens transformed into indoor garden features
- New sensory rooms and welcoming lounges to enhance resident wellbeing
- Improved storage solutions for a more organised and supportive environment
The result is a space that feels both comfortable and contemporary, designed to support residents’ wellbeing and recovery while honouring the character of the original building.
