Newcraighall Starts on Site!

jmarchitects are delighted to share that construction has officially begun on our latest residential project in Newcraighall!

Situated east of Glennie Road, Newcraighall, the project will deliver 220 new homes. This includes 125 houses with two, three, and four-bedroom options, and 95 apartments offering one, two, and three-bedroom configurations.

Our goal with the project is to create a dynamic residential community in Newcraighall. The new development will enhance the area with its mixed-tenure housing and a thoughtfully designed urban park. The Linear Park aims to boost local biodiversity, diversify park environments, and encourage active travel for people of all abilities.

Having secured planning permission in October 2023 for Cullross Limited and Hillcrest Housing Association, we have completed the mine workings and environmental assessments. With the first phase of the Building Warrant approved, we are eager to commence the crucial groundworks, including the construction of roads and drainage systems.
