Site Progress at Newcraighall!

jmarchitects are excited to see the fast progress on our residential development for Cullross Limited and Hillcrest Housing Association.

Significant strides are being made at Newcraighall, East of Glennie Road, as our residential development project progresses successfully. With works commenced in November 2024, the project is on track to deliver a total of 220 new properties— 125 houses and 95 apartments.

At the beginning of last month, jmarchitects conducted a site visit to Newcraighall, revealing the significant progress. During this visit, we observed that the structural works for the first three apartment buildings had already been completed, and the scaffolding had been partially removed from the first building, allowing us to fully appreciate the brick finish and admire the high standard of craftsmanship from Cullross to achieve this. Simultaneously, the terraced houses have also begun to take shape, marked by the erection of three floors and the roof covering, which allow for the installation of window sets soon.

We are delighted to be working as part of the team to assist the ongoing construction process and look forward to completing a fantastic development to the East of Edinburgh.
