jmarchitects X Wallace Whittle Deliver Net Zero Carbon CPD

jmarchitects and Wallace Whittle co-hosted a Net Zero Carbon CPD, which took place in the inspiring Storytelling Centre on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. We would like to thank Robin Blacklock for chairing the event and posing thought provoking questions to our panel. We would also like to thank our speakers: David Spiteri, Wallace Whittle; Steven Anderson, Scottish Futures; Daniel Lockwood, AtkinsRéalis; Magdalena Blazusiak, jmarchitects and Adelle Jess, jmarchitects. The mornings discussions highlighted that to have a truly Net Zero Carbon building it must be energy efficient and fit for purpose in both function and location alike. There is no one model fits all but through collaboration and engagement at all levels we can provide sustainable places which support our communities and create opportunities that all directly or indirectly affect carbon. The breakfast seminar provided a comprehensive exploration of the concept of achieving net zero carbon emissions.
