What a fantastic day at our Macmillan Coffee Morning!
It’s always a good day when it starts with cake and it’s even better when it’s for Macmillan!
On Wednesday morning our teams from across the country gathered for the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. It was a delight to see everyone take some time away from their desks to catch up, share stories, have a giggle and sample some of the fabulous cakes and bakes - all in support of a fantastic cause.
This year we had an ‘Under the Sea’ theme and held a competition for the best cake! We saw some amazing showstoppers including Paul’s Titanic themed traybake, Amy’s seashell cupcakes and Jenna’s octopus cupcakes.
In first place, our cake champion is… Corina Gheorgheoiu with her seashell cake!
As the coffee flowed and the cakes quickly disappeared, we took some time to reflect on what this charity means to each of us. The love for Macmillan was clearly reflected in the money that we raised as a team. Macmillan’s incredible work ensures that no one faces cancer alone, offering emotional, practical, and financial support - let’s show our appreciation and support for this amazing charity!
A huge shoutout to everyone at jmarchitects who baked, donated and participated in this event and helped us raise a bit of cash for a wonderful cause. It was a morning to remember!
