jmarchitects Shortlisted for Prestigious Learning Places Scotland Awards
We are thrilled to announce that jmarchitects has been shortlisted by the 2024 Learning Places Scotland Awards in the highly coveted Architectural Practice of the Year category. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to creating innovative, sustainable, and inspiring learning environments across Scotland.
Adding to the excitement, our project, the Wallyford Learning Campus, in joint submissions with hub East Central Scotland, has also been shortlisted in not one, but two categories: Project of the Year and Inspiring Learning Places. Every space within Wallyford Learning Campus was thoughtfully briefed, designed and constructed to support and nurture pupils, parents and the community in environments which inspire, excite and enthuse – spaces which fully support pathways to better health, wellbeing, the workplace or further education.
We are equally proud to share that our client, East Lothian Council, has been shortlisted for the Client of the Year award. Their vision and unwavering support have been crucial in bringing the Wallyford Learning Campus to life. This nomination highlights their commitment to enhancing educational facilities within the community, ensuring that the spaces where learning takes place are as dynamic and forward-thinking as the education itself.
