Liberton Community Campus nears completion!
Latest site progress update from Liberton Community Campus as the new building nears its final stages.
We are pleased to share updated site photos of our Liberton Community Campus project. With internal packages and first phase of external works well underway and due to be completed over the coming weeks, it is great to see this project come together.
The building’s cranked form is driven by the Passivhaus Classic brief, site constraints and the need to create a welcoming approach for on a site which has minimal frontage on to Gilmerton Road. The project is part of phase two of the Learning Estate Investment Programme and aligns with the city’s twenty-minute neighbourhood strategy. A true community campus, which will incorporate a GP practice, community library, meeting spaces, café and workspace for council partners alongside a replacement for the existing Liberton High School.
