A rootin’ tootin’ evening at this year’s Wild West themed Radio Lollipop Ball
The annual Radio Lollipop Ball is a much-anticipated event to help raise funds, and jmarchitects was delighted to saddle-up and join in on the fun again this year.
Since its inception in 1979, Radio Lollipop has served as a source of care, comfort, and entertainment for children in hospitals. The annual Radio Lollipop Ball is a much-anticipated event to help raise funds, and jmarchitects was delighted to saddle-up and join in on the fun again this year.
This year we embraced the theme of the Wild West which prompted us to add a touch of western flair to our formal attire. The night was filled with a delicious three-course supper, an exciting prize draw, and remarkable live entertainment that encouraged us giddy on up and dance the night away in true country fashion!
Among the organisers of this fantastic event, our own Graham Barr has been a devoted advocate for Radio Lollipop for more than 33 years. Since 1991 he has been volunteering, making visits to the wards, hosting his own radio show, and showing a steadfast commitment to bringing joy to young patients. The charity believes in the healing power of play and is devoted to providing smiles and laughter to children through activities and entertainment, helping support them through the toughest of times in hospital.
