Hawthorns SEND Official Opening Ceremony!
jmarchitects were delighted to be invited to the official opening ceremony of the Hawthorns SEND school! It was both heartwarming and emotional, receiving such wonderful feedback first hand by pupils, their parents and staff!

Hawthorns SEND School is a new build single story SEND Primary School with additional Early Years' Provision for 220 children in the age bracket of 4 - 11 years. The school is designed for children with complex social communication needs, including children with severe autism and children with significant emotional dysregulation.
The school has been delivered in compliance with the Manchester Low Carbon Build Standard and achieves BREEAM Excellent.
This is an exciting new state-of-the-art facility in a beautiful setting, and we are delighted to be a part of its fruition!
