A groundworks package has been awarded PD Groundworks, which represents another important step in the ambitious development programme at Govan Old.
A groundworks package has been awarded PD Groundworks, which represents another important step in the ambitious development programme at Govan Old.
Works commenced on 20th March 2023 which will see the construction of the ground floor slab and below-ground drainage which takes the project closer to its goal: a new-build extension providing lettable office space, toilet facilities, a lift and plant space to revitalise the existing church building as a bookable venue and visitor experience for the Govan Stones. The works will also see the completion of a river-source heat pump that will provide cost-efficient sustainable heating for the building.
