Co-op Academy Brierley module installation complete!
jmarchitects are thrilled to see that Portakabin completed the module installation at Cross Green Lane in Leeds for the new Co-op Academy.
Since 2019, jmarchitects have collaborated with Portakabin on several occasions, providing pre-construction design services. jmarchitects extensive education design experience, married with Portakabin’s longstanding off-site modular construction expertise, both parties benefited from this collaboration.
The school is an ambulant special school, which will provide education facilities for 100 primary and 100 secondary pupils. Part of the school’s pupil provision is for 8 number high needs pupils who require a specialist area within the build.

Cross Green Lane in Leeds, now known as ‘Co-op Academy Brierley’ was a challenging project on a steep site. It is always rewarding seeing a project finally built on site.”
