jmarchitects participates in Careers Evenings at Bathgate Academy and Knox Academy!
jmarchitects joined students and their families at careers evenings to talk about opportunities they can explore in the construction industry.
Putting pupils, parents, and businesspeople in a room together, careers evenings allow the future workforce to meet with representatives from all business sectors and enter the world of networking.
This month Adelle, Doug and Abigail from our Edinburgh office represented jmarchitects at Knox Academy Careers fair in East Lothian and Bathgate Academy Pathways and Careers Evening in West Lothian to offer pupils an insight into a career in Architecture whilst also highlighting other pathways within the construction industry.
With 60 businesses in attendance at Knox Academy, jmarchitects were delighted to be pitched next to WRD’s Gillian Ogilvie and team so we could share with pupils how the two roles collaborate on projects and the software utilised during coordination.
Both evenings were well attended, and we would like to thank both Elaine Gorman and Georgina Scott for inviting us along to support the development of the young workforce.
