Calderwood Primary Extension handed over!

We are pleased to announce that the extension to Calderwood Primary has been officially handed over to West Lothian Council ahead of the new school year. The developer-funded extension provides an additional 10 classrooms and associated support and playground spaces to the existing award-winning Calderwood Primary School designed by jmarchitects and delivered by Morrisons Construction in 2021. Following the success and enthusiasm from the community to the original school, we are excited that this new extension now provides important new educational facilities as the community of Calderwood expands. The extension, while always part of the overall phases plan for the school, has been adapted to the current needs and to create a tighter footprint, leaving more space for playground. The building provides extra classroom space while offering the flexibility for spaces to change use in the future. The new wing blends seamlessly into the original phase of the building, maintaining the use of high-quality materials and finishes to provide continuity to the learning journey from early years through to Primary 7. “We are delighted to hand over the Calderwood Primary Extension project, continuing our successful relationship with West Lothian Council and the wider team.
