jmarchitects Supports Build Your Future

Last week we supported S2 pupils from across Aberdeen city and shire, completing an architecture focused task at the Build Your Future event at Aberdeen Football Club.

Build Your Future provides young people with the insight, knowledge and skills they need to develop their awareness and experience of Construction and the Built Environment. By participating in events like Build Your Future it exposes students to the vast variety of careers available in the industry.

The students completed a variety of tasks throughout the day with many different professions, including one with us. The teams were set the task of designing a school with a brief and budget they took on the roles of Architects, Landscape Architects, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors allowing the students to get a taste of the various roles involved in the design process.
