Celebrating Brian’s 35 glorious years at jmarchitects!

Today we celebrate Brian Thomson's 35-year anniversary with jmarchitects. From the moment that Brian stepped through the doors of the PJMP studio in Duddingston Village, he has been an integral part of the development of our UK offices and a strong advocate for our collaborative, balanced and integrated approach. During his career Brian has pioneered our work across many sectors and championed innovation within our projects. There have been many challenges over the years and Brian’s ability to assess, review, action and encourage has been exemplary.

Brian has supported growth within individuals and inspired our next generation of Architects through his hard work, dedication, and pride in all things jmarchitects. We could not be prouder of him and this incredible achievement. From everyone at jmarchitects we wish him all the best and we look forward to many more years with Brian as our Managing Director!

Since opening our Manchester studio in 2002, coinciding with our MBO and his appointment to Managing Director, Brian has supported our endeavours and featured heavily in creating such a vibrant and diverse business in the Northwest. He has fostered collaboration between our UK offices over those decades, supported knowledge share across all our sectors and burnt much midnight oil together with us at the sharp end of bids and presentations. Brian remains engaged daily and connected with both our staff and our clients and continues to be a real role model for passion and drive in what we do.
