St Andrew’s Drive Phases 2 & 3 is a landscape-led development of 120 high-quality new homes in Pollokshields, Glasgow. The project showcases thoughtful use of brick to create a cohesive residential environment rooted in context and community.
PLATFORM_ Edinburgh comprises 464 apartments with shared amenity spaces in Bonnington. The scheme demonstrates how brick can be deployed at scale while maintaining character, rhythm and a strong connection to its urban setting.
The Wallyford Learning Campus is a modern educational hub for 950 students in East Lothian. Here, brick is used to balance durability, identity and warmth, supporting the design of a civic building with long-term community value.
Cian and Paul reflected on the methodologies, material choices and sector-specific design responses behind each scheme.
We were delighted to hear from the other inspiring speakers who shared their own perspectives on contemporary brick architecture. The evening rounded off with lively networking and refreshments, making for a thoroughly enjoyable evening of discourse.
A huge thank you to the Brick Development Association for hosting another inspiring evening celebrating contemporary brick architecture and giving us the chance to showcase three of our projects, and to everyone who joined the conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed presenting and connecting with so many colleagues and collaborators. We look forward to the next one — and are excited to see the results at the Brick Awards 2025!
