Exciting times at Bonnington Road Lane - Site Progress! One Year in

On a slightly overcast spring Edinburgh day, our jmarchitects Bonnington Road Lane team members enjoyed a site visit to our four hundred and sixty-four BTR apartment residential project in the north of the city. Our BTR residential project has been on site for a year this month and progress has been fast. GRAHAM are pushing forward at a pace and the site is a hive of activity across the three blocks; the piling rig has completed, and extensive substructure work is being finalised on Block C, specialist self-erected tower cranes have assisted the erection of the lightweight steel frame superstructure which is nearing completion on Block A and Block B. Windows have been fitted and roof works and brickwork have started. We commenced work on the project in the summer of 2019, it’s really satisfying to now see the results on site after many years of hard work from a large number of people. Seeing the proposals emerge on the site is the one of the most rewarding parts of the process for the jmarchitects team, having been working with digital models for the years in advance. We are delighted to be working as part of the team to assist the ongoing construction process and look forward to completing a fantastic development for the Bonnington area.
