Bolt Works starts to appear!

With just over 6 months left until completion, the scaffold has started to drop on our apartment scheme in Halifax to reveal its stunning brickwork!

Following completion of the brickwork package by Keith Walton Brickwork Ltd, Caddick construction have started to dismantle the scaffolding to the front Cow Green elevation, finally revealing the brickwork detailing. At the parapet the protruding banding can be seen, casting a small shadow to enhance the detail. Further down the façade, the horizontal soldier course banding between windows can be seen, this detail wraps the entire building at alternate floors. Additional brick detailing will become apparent over the coming weeks as the scaffold drops further, finally exposing the stonework at ground floor.

When completed in Q2 2025, the development for Placefirst built on the site of a former multi storey carpark, will provide 122 new one and two-bedroom BTR apartments in Halifax with bike storage and electric car charging points. The brownfield site offers a prime central location in close proximity to areas of employment and transport hubs, creating an attractive destination for people seeking vibrant Town Centre living.

This development also marks Placefirst’s most sustainable project to date and includes photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps and mechanical ventilation also with heat recovery, lowering energy bills for residents.
