New BBC and STV Coverage Highlights Progress at Govan Old Parish

jmarchitects are delighted to see the ongoing transformation of Govan Old Parish recognised through recent coverage by STV News and the BBC, highlighting the progress being made on this important heritage-led regeneration project.

Working with Govan Heritage Trust and the wider project team, jmarchitects are delivering a sensitive and sustainable approach that will preserve the Grade A listed church while creating a new destination for heritage, learning, community activity and enterprise.

The redevelopment marks an exciting new chapter for one of Scotland’s most significant historic sites, securing the long-term future of the building and its internationally important collection of early medieval carved stones.

Recent site progress, including the erection of the new steel frame, represents a major milestone in bringing the vision to life. The emerging structure provides the first glimpse of the new spaces being created alongside the historic church, carefully designed to complement and enhance the existing building.
