jmarchitects attend Apprentice FEST Aberdeen

Last Thursday evening we formed part of the ‘Construction Zone’ at Apprentice FEST, a fantastic event run by DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) in partnership with HUB North and Scott Sutherland School at Robert Gordon University.

The event offered local young people, parents/carers and teachers, insight into early career opportunities, and presented a valuable chance for them to engage with businesses across various sectors.

The event was extremely well organised and saw around 200 pupils from local secondary schools peruse the many stands from various potential employers.

The jmarchitects stand saw several future architects & architectural technologists throughout the course of the evening. We answered queries on our day-to-day work activities and imparted advice and knowledge on a career in architecture.

We will no doubt cross paths with many of the attendees in the future and wish everyone we spoke to success wherever their chosen career path takes them.
