Alex McKendry is Retiring!

After almost thirty-eight years of service with jmarchitects (PJMP) this month sees the retirement of our friend and colleague Alex McKendry.

Alex’s contribution to the development of the practice has been significant, initially working on a series of sensitive residential regeneration developments before leading our team developing supermarkets across the UK, then going on to deliver large education PPP projects.

In recent years he has been working across the country in a business development capacity. Always thoughtful with his colleagues, clients and consultant teams, Alex’s hospitality is legendary with many gestures of kindness and consideration and always interested and attentive to the needs of others. His morning gifts of croissant and coffees for our teams and our clients were always particularly well received!

He will be very much missed by many while his legacy of professionalism and friendship sets the standards for the culture of jmarchitects.
