Along with the fantastic news that The Bothy and Tùr at Cuningar Loop has been shortlisted at the AJ Awards, we are thrilled to announce that in a joint submission with Ryder Architecture Winchburgh Campus has been shortlisted in the School Project category!

The new Winchburgh and Sinclair Academies, the Sport and Well Being Hub and Holy Family Primary School form a critical component of the Winchburgh regeneration project providing key public infrastructure to support the successful transformation of the former shale mining village into a significant thriving community with placemaking at the heart of the development.

jmarchitects and Ryder Architecture worked collaboratively towards designing a welcoming learning environment in a series of open, flexible, and light buildings with visual connections to the landscape within which they sit offering a genuine focus for the evolving Winchburgh community.

“We are pleased to announce that the Winchburgh Campus has been shortlisted for the AJ Awards! The project provides an exciting and engaging learning environment for the expanding town of Winchburgh with fantastic views towards the new Auldcathie Park and the Forth Bridges beyond. The buildings are a testament to West Lothian councils ongoing vision for creating inspiring learning environments.”
