The jmarchitects designed Wallyford Primary School was officially opened today at a ceremony led by Head teacher Mhairi Stratton, East Lothian Councillor Shamin Akhtar and Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, John Swinney MSP. Ms Stratton told the assembled guests how popular the bright social spaces and open plan teaching spaces have been with pupils and of the hugely positive effect that the new teaching environment is already having on the pupils and staff.
Stewart Davie and Graham Miller from the jmarchitects project team were in attendance on what was a very proud day for all involved.
