We are delighted to announce that the Tùr has been showcased in the esteemed RSA Annual Exhibition, which is being held at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.

This prestigious exhibition, which has been running for almost two centuries, provides a platform for contemporary art, architecture, sculpture, film, printmaking, photography, and installation. This year, it features works by some of the country’s leading architects showcasing architectural proposals throughout Scotland, including the Tùr.

The artwork is a series of black and white vignettes of the Tùr denoting the atmospheric and material quality to the Watch tower that is located within Cuningar Loop Park and is displayed alongside a scale model constructed from blackened timber which celebrates the idiosyncrasy of the structural solution.

We would also like to extend a special thanks to Keith Hunter Photography, who undertook the original photography of the Bothy and Tùr. Keith’s stunning photographs have beautifully captured the essence of the proposal and have helped to showcase it in the best possible light to the visitors of the exhibition.

The Bothy and Tùr has had recent features in both Dezeen and the Architect’s Journal and immensely proud to have the Tùr featured in this prestigious exhibition. We hope that the project will continue to generate further positive development within the local area.
