Worship Square is an office and retail building which lies in the South Shoreditch Conservation Area and replaces two office buildings Quick and Tower House built in 1988 and 1992 respectively. Entered off the newly created and landscaped Worship Square, the new building will provide a healthy, data driven and sustainable environment and will comprise 134,000 sq ft of office accommodation and 4,500 sq ft of retail space contributing further to the vibrancy and varied character of this area of London.

Worship Square is an all-electric building, using Air Source Heat Pump technology, onsite photovoltaics, and renewable electricity providers. Ground floor bike storage with a dedicated street level entrance offers a seamless commuting experience. With 324 spaces plus six e-bike/scooter charging points and maintenance areas or occupiers can even use one of a fleet of in-house Brompton bikes free of charge. Worship Square has its own wellness studio and provides active commuters and exercisers with showers in a health-club style changing facility comprising, 337 lockers, towel service, drying room, and vanity units with hairdryers. Wellness is also promoted with landscaped, communal roof terrace enjoying panoramic views over central London and providing space for outdoor yoga, gardening classes or simply for relaxation. The building even has its own wormery to create on site compost for the vegetable growing beds.

Worship Square will be one of London’s most sustainable, smart and healthy commercial buildings that will be Net Zero Carbon in construction and operation. An integrated building model allows optimisation of every aspect of the scheme and allows occupants to fully contribute to the goals of a circular economy and a sustainable workplace. Working closely with the client and the other design team members; design, construction and operation have been integrated to create a zero carbon, sustainable and inspiring workplace for tomorrow.
