St. Georges Gardens is a new built mixed-use development that provides a total of 138 dwellings and ground floor commercial units. The site is located on the southwestern side of Manchester City Centre adjacent to the listed St. Georges Church. The apartments have enclosed winter gardens, generously sized for dining and recreational use while open space is provided at roof level in the form of a communal roof terrace for use by all residents.
The project achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating and 1 out of 3 credits under the Mat 03 RSM (Responsible sourcing of materials) with 100% of timber and key materials responsibly sourced. Locally sourced materials have been preferred to cut down on pollution from transport and contribute to the local economy.
