The scheme offers 210,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace over 13 floors and sits in the heart of Nine Elms, close to the Battersea Power Station in London. Following a re-visit of the Stage 3 Design, where the sustainability, the wellbeing standards and the environmental performance of the building were improved, the client instructed the design team to update and amend the previously prepared Stage 4 tender information to incorporate these changes.

A wide range of sustainability accreditations and targets were set but in particular the Design Team identified what measures would be required to take the BREEAM rating of the design for the building from Excellent to Outstanding. Following a number of feasibility reviews and design updates the scheme is now forecast to achieve a score of 89.29% pushing it to a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’. A process of evidence collation to confirm and demonstrate this to BRE is underway.
