Baltic Mill is the second jmarchitects’ project shortlisted at the Scottish Home Awards!

Baltic Mill, nominated in the Renovation of the Year category, is a category A-listed building built in 1851. It was initially category B-listed in 1971, and in 2003 was upgraded to a building of national importance.

jmarchitects were appointed by the developer Cullross, in partnership with Hillcrest Housing Association (HHA) to design and deliver this sensitive conversion of a listed building near the centre of Arbroath to provide 24 high quality flats with associated parking, green space, integrated bicycle and refuse storage facilities and improved landscaping.

We are thoroughly looking forward to the award ceremony in September and look forward to seeing our fellow nominees – Cala Homes, Iain Gaul Architects, Lyall Building Solutions, Kingdom Housing Association, The Good House Company, Lorn Macneal Architects, Diamond Property Developments and Crieff Construction Ltd (Corryard).
