
jmarchitects are proud to announce that Saddleworth High School reaches Completion! It’s been a long process, but the outcome is all worth it!
We are absolutely delighted that we are now finally reaching completion of the design and construction for the much-anticipated Saddleworth High School. The school are currently moving in! There is a lot of exciting activity on site and pupils, staff and parents are eagerly awaiting to move in properly and use the school at the end of this half term!
It’s been emotional on so many levels, but the next milestone is actually seeing 1500 students and 200 staff along with their families, enjoying these state-of-the-art purpose built facilities, with the latest technologies and to the output requirements for an outstanding education facility, delivering innovative teaching opportunities for current and future generations.
The proposal comprises of a new 10FE High School for ages 11 to 16. The total built floorspace equates to 10,500 sq.m gross, with outside areas including sports pitches, playing fields, and areas for external teaching and play.
