1997, the year that Steve Jobs returned to Apple, Titanic hysteria swept the world and Labour won a landslide General Election. It was also the year that Ryan Fletcher joined PJMP.
25 years ago, to the day, on 1st September Ryan, armed with his set square and Rotary pens stepped over the threshold of Duddingston House, the former office of PJMP, latterly rebranded to jmarchitects.
“Congratulations to Ryan Fletcher on his 25th anniversary with jmarchitects! He joined us as a slip of a lad back in the day and has been an integral part of the practice as we have grown through all those years. He was instrumental in the MBO process in 2002 and became a Director in 2005. He is a much-loved colleague and has made a significant contribution to the evolution of jmarchitects over the years. Happy jm birthday Ryan!”
– Brian Thomson, Managing Director jmarchitects
We found this throwback picture of Ryan and Brian at a jmarchitects Christmas party, is anyone able to guess what year this was?!
