
Replacement Castlebrae High school has been submitted for planning. The new school, due to open in 2021, has been designed for 700 pupils with an expansion strategy allowing the school to expand to 1200 pupils when required. It includes a new 3G pitch and along with the town square development will complete the Craigmillar Town Centre Masterplan.
The visible location of the school acts as a focal point ad sends a prominent message that learning and improvement are at the heart of the community.
The School has been designed to enhance opportunities for the community and continue to raise attainment and aspirations for achievement and success.
