Associate Phil Zoechbauer has been elected President of the Glasgow Institute of Architects!
“It is a great honour to have been elected as President of the Glasgow Institute of Architects. I firstly must thank all those that turned out at our AGM to vote, as well as our Past-President Isabel Garriga for her tireless service to the institute over the past 2 years. I’d also like to thank all my friends and colleagues at jmarchitects for their support.
Glasgow and the surrounding chapter area has a rich and proud history in architecture and design and I see it as the GIA’s role to promote Glasgow’s architects and architecture within the chapter, nationally and internationally. I hope to continue the momentum that has been established by our previous presidents to positively represent, champion and promote the GIA and architecture within the chapter area.
Over the next two years, I look forward to working with our partners, local councils, schools of architecture and built environment professionals from all backgrounds to energise and engage the profession and achieving our organisations goals.”
