A significant milestone at the new primary school for the Montgomerie Park area of Irvine! The steel frame now stands tall, marking a pivotal moment in our journey towards a Passivhaus-inspired future.

During our recent site visit to the school site, we observed significant progress in the construction process aligned with Passivhaus principles. The completion of the steel frame signifies structural integrity and a commitment to energy efficiency.

The installation of the ground floor slab and first-floor precast planks underscores the importance of meticulous workmanship, essential for creating a well-insulated and airtight building envelope—an integral part of Passivhaus design.

We’re excited about the ongoing progress as we work towards establishing a sustainable, energy-efficient, and comfortable learning environment for the future students of Montgomerie Park Primary School. Stay tuned for more updates as the construction of this Passivhaus school continues.
